About the property…

This ground-floor apartment can accommodate up to six guests (four adults), with three bedrooms and two shower rooms.

Step straight into the stylishly-decorated living room, where you can relax on the cosy sofa or in the armchairs. A dining table separated the seating area from the open-plan kitchen, which is modern, functional and has everything you need to cook for your group.

The living area opens onto a large terrace, which is one of the highlights of Lodge Nicola. It boasts a second dining table for six for your outdoor meals, sun loungers that enjoy excellent sun exposure throughout the day, as well as a hot tub!

The apartment has three bedrooms, two of which have large double beds that can be made up as two single beds if required. Both of these bedrooms open onto the terrace, and one also has its own shower room and toilet. This room also connects to the third bedroom, which has bunk beds for two, making it a practical choice for a family.

The property also has a separate shower room with a WC. It also offers a bike and ski locker on the lower ground floor, which has a heated ski boot rack.

About the area…

Les Gets and the neighbouring towns of Morzine and Avoriaz are part of the Portes du Soleil, an area of 12 resorts stretching across the French-Swiss border.

It's possible to ski all the way into Switzerland, but only the most experienced will be able to take on the Swiss Wall. Famous for being one of the steepest and most difficult descents in the world, it is classed as an orange run because it is more dangerous than the black ones. But there are plenty of alternatives for skiers of all abilities in this vast domain, with 650 km of pistes.

Non-skiers will not be bored. In neighbouring Morzine, you'll find both indoor and outdoor ice rinks. You can also watch hockey matches or catch a film at the cinema.

The more adventurous can try their hand at snowmobiling or climb one of the region's frozen waterfalls. Those who prefer to take it easy can explore the surrounding area on a sleigh ride or snowshoe trek. Organise tobogganing sessions or visit the Indiana adventure park in Morzine – a fun day out for all ages.

In spring, the snow-covered slopes give way to lush green valleys, a paradise for hikers, cyclists and thrill-seekers. Take the ski lifts up into the mountains and come back down at your own pace. Visit the resorts of Morzine and Avoriaz, or the village of Montriond and its lake, perfect for a walk, picnic or kayak trip.

Les Gets and Morzine have been awarded the Famille Plus label for their entertainment programme and child-friendly facilities.

There are water parks and summer toboggan runs in and around Les Gets, as well as excellent golf courses. You can also go climbing, rafting, via ferrata, canyoning, quad biking, fishing, etc.
